Introduction
Dear respected members of Rubber Society of Korea
I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve the Rubber Society of Korea (RSK) as a chairman.
I am so proud that the RSK has been a prestigious academic society having a long history of over 50 years. Due to a hard work of many senior members notably from rubber industries, the RSK has made a firm foundation as an academic society since 1966. Through a successful hosting of two international rubber conferences (IRC-1999, IRC-2012), our society has grown a lot in view of size and quality by joining many members from academia and research institutes.
However, the RSK is recently facing a stagnant situation in overall society activities due to reduced number of rubber people from both industries and academia. For overwhelming wisely the crisis and leading to a motivation of enhancing society activities, I would like to focus on the following policies with my best.
